Being Green*

GAAS has long been a fan of keeping our environment pristine. Our Sun Drive™ technology will soon be able to replicate the self-sustaining nature of star fusion energy through deep bore planetary drilling. Harvesting Materials

The highest quality science must start with the highest quality ingredients. For these, we relinquish the burden of bearing resources from Mother Earth, and put the harvest to good use. The techniques that we use minimize damage to the resource. We also pay all outstanding debts and taxes to regulatory commissions in a timely fashion.

Refinement

After material harvest, the challenge is not set to create refined, experiment-grade products for use by our R&D department. As our research is cutting edge, many of our refined products have never existed before. Even so, our PR department has proclaimed these products to be 96% safe.

Because this process is so power-intensive, we apologize to the neighboring towns who've been affected by perpetual rolling blackouts. Science appreciates your contribution!

Refinement

Research & Development

This is the most important step to our business. Pure science requires the utmost care and patience when performed, and all results must go through a rigorous quality control process before we proceed with application on live projects. As you can imagine, many of these experiments involve copious amounts of waste product. You will be glad to know that all of our labware ends up properly autoclaved, and our hazardous waste pragmatically disposed of in underground bunkers in order to maximize efficiency and time. Many of our products remain stable for millennia, and only a select lucky few could possibly survive long enough to witness their destabilization.

Waste Treatment

Some of our end products (both biological and non-biological) are inherently unstable, and as such need to be neutralized before being disposed of. Though, as previously mentioned, we do not fully comprehend all of our products or byproducts, we take the utmost care in reducing our pollution footprint worldwide. In order to accomplish this goal, all of our unstable byproducts are placed in oil drums that are then welded shut by experienced community college students. They are then transported to underground bunkers around the world for proper disposal. By doing this, we ensure that no ordinary citizen ever comes in direct contact with our waste.
